There’s such pleasure

and calmness

in the silence

of early morning

and the comfort of a cozy homely room

There’s such quivering quality

in the hush of dawn

when morning sunrays

steal into the waning

of clouds of night to reveal the day’s beauty

and let the night’s magic

be bygone

In gentle majestic moments

such as these

i greet the hush of dawn

with yearning tenderness

and delightful dewy kisses

then i rise

……..and ascend

to ecstatical heights

feeling whispering winds

of joy upon my face

I smile

glad that

i have known

the peace of love
