Only Time Can Heal The Pain, My Somalia

Dear Somalia,

Only time can heal the pain.

You can turn tears into laughter.

Turn your frown to a smile.

But only time can heal the pain.

You can turn sorrow to joy.

Turn sadness to happiness.

But only time can heal the pain.

You can rebuild your world.

And reclaim your future.

But only time can heal the pain.

Only time can heal the pain.

The pain in your chest.

From your broken heart.

From losing that special someone.

That someone that meant the world.

You don\’t have to remember this poem.

Just this little message.

That loved ones we lose.

Remain with us.

For love itself lives on.

Somalia.
