The Somalia Gender Hub collaborates with researchers and organisations working in gender and women’s rights in Somalia. The core focus is on the development of an online Somali Gender Hub. The Hub brings under a central online platform data and information from a range of stakeholders on gender and women in Somalia.

The Hub does the following:

• • Make available research, news, interviews and personal stories focusing on gender equality and women’s rights.
  • Provide access to training materials, resources and tools related to research, gender and women’s rights.
  • Provide online mentoring and coaching for female students and women.
  • Hold online events to bring together women researchers, bloggers and journalists in Somalia.
  • Provide information about funding and scholarships.
  • Build a directory of organizations and researchers working on gender and women’s rights in Somalia.
