Hoos isu la hadal // Silent whispers

Hoos isu la hadal.

Haddu waagu beryey hurdo uma haamaansan.

Maalmihii tegey baan tiriyaa.

Habeenkan dhammaadayna ii raac.

Waa maxay, waa subax xag alla kaber.

Ooshimbirhi ka ag heesayaan deriishadda.

Barkinti baan iska rogay ooh hoos isula hadlay.

Noloshu xaggay igu wadda?.

Muxuu yahay dareenka baahidu?.

Maxaan la ooyayaa?.

Tiiraanyada naftayda?.

Maxaytahay dhibatooyinkaan?.

Maxaan  la borooranayaa?.

Maxaan galay ee layga goynayaa?.

Tani waa maalinnimadii.

Habeenkii galbay.

Sidoo kale raaxadaydi.

Anna wa i kan.

Waxa i horjooga adduunki iyo himilooyinkagii.

Riyooyinkaygi iyo hammigaygi.

Weli sidii baan isula hadlaya.

Madaxiina barkintii baan hu hayaa.

Shimbirihuna sidii bay daagadda uga heesayan.

Silent whispers.

(Translation of Hoos isu la hadal).

Upon the break of dawn.

My head looses a yawn

I count the days gone

For the night too is almost gone

What! For the morning so mellow

The birds singing by the window

I turn my head on my pillow

And whisper low

What a life i lead

What it feels to need

Why should i weep?

For the sorrows in my soul

Why was i born

Why should i mourn

What seed have i sown

And the night is already gone

Yes the night is already gone

The day has come

To face and conquer the world

With my dream, passions and desires
